Shell Sutton 6 10K

Postby Neil on Thu Sep 17, 2009 9:59 am

It's the last race of the Cheshire GP this weekend and as most of you will know the mens team have a great chance of finishing in the top three for the first time in the clubs history. This is also a Club Championship race (one of the more flatter ones)! So it would be good if we could get a good turn out either to run or just to support us on the day.

Not bad for a small jogging club from Shavington :)

Some of the Top performances today.

Mike H first M40, 35mins.
Gaz C back running, circa 36mins
Cheryl debut with 43mins
Mark H taking 5 mins from last week.
Pete MJ hauling himself round whilst being next to Death (a sniffle).
Gill PB
First 8 Men all under 39mins
Both Robs had very good times.
The list goes on.

Pat

Oh and second team in Cheshire :D

Yes excellent mornings work by one and all. Some great runs and 2nd best in Cheshire is some achievement against some v. big clubs. Let's see if we can get the ladies in the same position next year!

Really enjoyed this course as first time doing it - defo for next years champs. Post Florida blues are starting to recede

Roll on X/C...time to get down and dirty now we're in top division:twisted:

Well done lads, what a great result. Would just like to say a big thank-you to everyone who has run for SCH in the GP series, we needed all of you. I've not seen the results but I bet there was quite a few Harriers home before Vale Royals 6th counter came in, that is what helped us finished 2nd, its not just about having fast runners up near the front.

Again, well done and bring on the XC.
