The first Thursday of every month, as you know, is curry night for the Harriers, excepting July-September inc., which, as you also know, are non-curry months. And in October, the first Thursday of the month falls on the 1st, which is an unlucky number for curry, so (and of course I'm only telling you what you already know) the second monthly curry night will take place, as anticipated, on Thursday 8 October, starting at 8.30pm at the place by Nantwich railway station where we went last time. You can set your watch by it.
This is open to anyone and everyone, and is very definitely not some boorish booze-up with everyone singing rugby songs and trying to outdo each other on the heat of their curry. In fact, this month local thespian Patrick Hudson will be giving us a recital from his hit stage show The Songs of Noel Coward, while sporting a black sheer silk dressing gown which is rrreally so very-very much to die for, darling.
Book early to avoid disappointment.
