Running with the Whippets - Thursday 3rd September

Running with the Whippets - Thursday 3rd September

Postby Alasdair & Sarah on Wed Aug 26, 2009 7:09 pm

Just a gentle reminder that the Whitchurch Whippets have invited us for a run from thier club on Thursday 3rd as follows:

'........following the successful run between our two clubs in Nantwich the other
week we would like to return the invitation with a joint run in
Whitchurch on Thursday the 3rd September. Meeting time and place being
7:00 p.m at the Whitchurch Rugby Club. The rugby club entrance is off
SEDGEFORD (B5395) SY13 1EU.

The run to be followed by chip butties in the South Cheshire tradition!
It would be a help if you could give me an indication as to likely
numbers before the 3nd September.'

Be great if we could turn out in reciprocal numbers...please pass the message onto fellow club members, and an indication of who will be joining us would be appreciated via this post.

Thanks

Alasdair

I am away with work, so definitely won't be there. I spoke to 4 whippets tonight at capenhurst, they are looking forward to it and have a scenic one lined up. (although I think the word hilly may have been used) :P

My group has decided that it will train at the Vagrants that night as usual as they are not sure whether the Whippets would cater for the slower runners. Having said that, they seemed a friendly bunch when they came to us, so I'm sure that the rest of you will be made very welcome.

Message from Simon from Whitchurch Whippets re. directions

I've been testing chips this afternoon and the boys have been working
out routes for all to enjoy!

Even the weather promises to be better.

See you all tomorrow. The entrance to the rugby club is off Sedgefield
(B5395) almost opposite St John Talbot school.
